After 25 minutes, Celestino Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espinillo and the Deportivo Pacuzito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute of the match, Raimundo Rosalio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arman Wiberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espinillo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cleto Hanni was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Pacuzito's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Iker Heli managed to volley towards the net. The corner was taken by Cleto Hanni in the 53rd minute. Deportivo Pacuzito's Cleto Hanni was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arman Wiberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee ignored Deportivo Pacuzito's protests and gave Cleto Hanni a yellow card for diving instead.
