The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maşallah Abdulkärimov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Arnaldo Cordeara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abelardo Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Elpidio Jenaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caspian FC and the Pidagasan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Elpidio Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caspian FC's Elpidio Jenaro got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Elpidio Jenaro off the ground. Fabian Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Caspian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Elodio came free, but Abelardo Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pidagasan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Maşallah Abdulkärimov scored to the left of an out of position Arnaldo Cordeara, making the score, 1-0. Abelardo Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 33 played minutes Pidagasan got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Manex. The long shot by Erubiel Jobo in the 34th minute really tested Arnaldo Cordeara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Manex during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Caspian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Hermon came free, but Abelardo Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Caspian FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Mazuste. Caspian FC's Abelardo Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hermon in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Hermon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Nicolas Hermon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carmelo Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute of the match Ludomil Chmelyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Cordeara skillfully saved the ball. Arnaldo Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maşallah Abdulkärimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maşallah Abdulkärimov in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Cordeara saved Pidagasan from getting behind. Abelardo Cristofol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Elodio in the 72nd minute. Arnaldo Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Jobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Abelardo Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
