Gavino Rosario hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Hugo Umea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Mannie. Club Lomas del Mirador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Venancio Ramond fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Lomas del Mirador's protests and gave Venancio Ramond a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Club Lomas del Mirador got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Ramond. Club Lomas del Mirador's Abel Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Gorosti in the 18th minute of play. Angelo Caradaro made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Venancio Ramond sent off a good shot on target. Simbol's Angelo Caradaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Simbol from getting a goal against them. Abel Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Venancio Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Grifoni in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Ramond in the 29th minute of play forced Simbol's goalkeeper Angelo Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Lomas del Mirador's attentive Zacarias Dimas managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Umea made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. If Filiberto Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simbol made a substitution. Prospero Nofre replaced Rodrigo Bilintx. In the 43rd minute, Jesus Boniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Grifoni to make the kick off. Prospero Nofre's late challenge caught a Club Lomas del Mirador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Nofre helped the player get up and apologised. Prospero Nofre hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Eriberto Ruisko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Mannie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 62nd minute when Filiberto Gorosti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Ramond in the 65th minute of play forced Simbol's goalkeeper Angelo Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Mannie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prospero Nofre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. In the 71st minute Albano Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Club Lomas del Mirador fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Club Lomas del Mirador's Alberto Grifoni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Neron hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Angelo Caradaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Club Lomas del Mirador's Abel Mannie got control of the ball when Filiberto Gorosti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Simbol's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Ramond came free, but Angelo Caradaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Club Lomas del Mirador lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
