With a little luck, Cordoba FC's Fernan Gomez got control of the ball when Israel Vigil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's zone, Afiq Phua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Ermengol came out of the goal and Afiq Phua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cordoba FC's Ildefonso Evis got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tammo Zippel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Atarrabi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Xabel got free with Fernan Gomez in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Vigil in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Puerto Madryn Futbol Club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Denis Maidana hit a great ball. Cordoba FC's Ladislao Unax managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raul Abeitia in the 39 minute of the game. Conrado Ermengol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiq Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Cordoba FC's Tammo Zippel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Ermengol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Vigil to make the kick off. If Israel Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Evis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Ermengol having to make a save. Fernan Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Cordoba FC's Nicolas Virila seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolas Virila the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cordoba FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolas Virila had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 64th match minute, Cordoba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Virila to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Vigil in the 66th minute of play forced Cordoba FC's goalkeeper Fernan Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Ermengol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afiq Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Puerto Madryn Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Montel. If Nicasio Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tammo Zippel kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Puerto Madryn Futbol Club's Alfonso Xabel got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Afiq Phua dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Conrado Ermengol, 0-3. Fernan Gomez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Xabel went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Puerto Madryn Futbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cordoba FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cordoba FC.
