The referee showed Tomás Ekain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Zubillaga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Ekain. 24 minutes into the match, Oscar Quexal notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zubillaga AFC's Gilberto Jaunti. Gilberto Jaunti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Quexal in the 28th minute of the match. Tomás Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Gines who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Donato Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ricardo Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Donato Cruz made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Luis Gines sent off a good shot on target. AC Cuneo's Silviu Radovan got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Zubillaga AFC's Geovanni Proença got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Venancio Dodorol hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Cuneo's goalkeeper Donato Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Quexal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albano Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match.
