Roberto Piearres was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 2 minutes into the match. A collision led to Uranga getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Roberto Piearres hit a great ball. Jaime Frutos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Paulin in the 5th minute. Israel Martxel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Gilberto Karlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uranga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Epe FC the free kick. The supporters of Epe FC booed when Uranga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Karlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Paulino Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gilberto Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Uranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Karlo couldn't finish the play. Higinio Elorri hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Efrain Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Karlo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Uranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Satordi to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Cayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Evelio Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Uranga's Horacio Cayo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evelio Garcia. That made the score 0-1 after 65 minutes of play. Epe FC made a substitution. Guillermo Esiquio replaced Dionisio Paskal. Artemio Ganix charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Ganix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Artemio Ganix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Uranga got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Madaleno. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uranga's goalkeeper Jaime Frutos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Uranga booed when Epe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Uranga got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Elorri. Jaime Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Uranga's Gilberto Karlo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Anier Basualdo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uranga's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Basualdo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Epe FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Angel Eutropio hit a great ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Uranga were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Epe FC side.
