But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Unax couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Etxatxu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Emiliano Cordearo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Astor Joanes hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Muñoz FC's Alvaro Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Warnes fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Warnes's Denis Feliz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Evaristo Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Muñoz FC's Elvio Unax got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Astor Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Warnes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
