Omar Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Columbo having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Daniel Teyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MALBEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Haroldo Brais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Columbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Guaberto Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Omar Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Montez to make the kick off. If Daniel Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Guter hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Samuel Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Montez in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes MALBEC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Guter. After some careless play in the Bravos Muchachitos defense, Omar Chan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Columbo. The Bravos Muchachitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Columbo should have stopped the shot. Enrique Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Rubio having to interfere. If Enrique Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MALBEC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
