When Luis Iban came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Bahía é Carnaval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Iban couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Tancredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mickael Wuyts came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnulfo Tancredo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Luis Iban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Elixio was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Arnulfo Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JS 22's Darío Cvitanich came free and shot a quick shot against goal 26 minutes in the game, fortunately Mickael Wuyts had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A collision led to JS 22 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Barnaba Kilarski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Tancredo in the 33rd minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Marciano Ferran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahía é Carnaval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Adilson Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. JS 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Adilson Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mickael Wuyts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 51 minutes, Arnulfo Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JS 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Tancredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Tancredo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Darío Cvitanich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael Wuyts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goal looked a bit too open when Darío Cvitanich came free, but Mickael Wuyts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickael Wuyts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Cvitanich, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Darío Cvitanich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Darío Cvitanich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Arnulfo Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahía é Carnaval made a substitution. Vinicio Florin replaced Marciano Ferran. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Tancredo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickael Wuyts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darío Cvitanich in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickael Wuyts saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, JS 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darío Cvitanich to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Jakes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Adilson Tepedino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. JS 22's Arnulfo Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darío Cvitanich hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Jairo Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
