Timoteo Rafel started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Faraday FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bartolo Vela hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, GLORIA DE PRIMERA's Eduardo Bartoli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Ikatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Eduardo Bartoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Ikatz. Faraday FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Bartoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Firme in the 10th minute of play. Freddy Pitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Sanson in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, GLORIA DE PRIMERA's goalkeeper Freddy Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Formerio. Faraday FC's Ildefonso Ikatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Firme in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Roman Firme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Firme in the 22nd minute of play. Ceferino Formerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Freddy Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mendez in the 29th minute of play forced GLORIA DE PRIMERA's goalkeeper Freddy Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Firme in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mendez in the 34th minute of play forced GLORIA DE PRIMERA's goalkeeper Freddy Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With an all-out effort, Faraday FC's Freddy Pitin threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hernan Mendez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of GLORIA DE PRIMERA booed when Faraday FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Frasquito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Timoteo Rafel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Ikatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Faraday FC's Arturo Sanson got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match, Timoteo Rafel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ildefonso Ikatz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. GLORIA DE PRIMERA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Lehoi in the 69th minute. It was a well-played corner which Roberto Galtero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Freddy Pitin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, GLORIA DE PRIMERA's Alonzo Lleir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ildefonso Ikatz. Ildefonso Ikatz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After some careless play in the Faraday FC defense, Timoteo Rafel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ildefonso Ikatz. The Faraday FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ildefonso Ikatz should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Leopoldo Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Pitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Formerio went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. GLORIA DE PRIMERA made a substitution. Iker Bilintx replaced Timoteo Rafel. Ildefonso Ikatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Formerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Pitin having to interfere. The GLORIA DE PRIMERA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GLORIA DE PRIMERA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
