In the 8th minute Raimundo Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Jeremias Costante fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Niceto Paio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Abalos in the 11th minute of play. Aldo Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Paio having to interfere. Mustang V8's Niceto Paio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mustang V8 from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute of the match Areco Juniors got a corner. Mustang V8's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristo Quilo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aldo Rubios short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Niceto Paio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute, Areco Juniors's Lucjan Ciborek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Mustang V8 booed when Areco Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamatis Kalabokis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gadiel Bobadilla in the 30th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Areco Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Moises Pelagius. Raimundo Abalos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Paio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gadiel Bobadilla in the 43rd minute of play forced Areco Juniors's goalkeeper Stamatis Kalabokis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Lucjan Ciborek made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Mustang V8 defense, Aldo Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Paio. The Mustang V8 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Paio should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Massa hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Lucjan Ciborek notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mustang V8's Niceto Paio. Niceto Paio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Silvestre Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Malvin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamatis Kalabokis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Areco Juniors booed when Mustang V8 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Enetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mustang V8's goalkeeper Niceto Paio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Areco Juniors were the better team. Areco Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
