The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes Troncos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Restu. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atlético Alvarado's Fabrício Pedrozo tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Bras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías Tagliamonte was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Gerardo Bras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Troncos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gerardo Bras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Alvarado's Matías Tagliamonte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Bras came free, but Matías Tagliamonte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Alvarado's Vladimiro Onofre got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Alvarado's Matías Tagliamonte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Alvarado from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Troncos FC's corner Rosendo Ugutz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matías Tagliamonte quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Troncos FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gerardo Bras hit a great ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Fabrício Pedrozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troncos FC's José Vítor Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matías Tagliamonte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Bras in the 41st minute of the match. Club Atlético Alvarado's Matías Tagliamonte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Bras in the 42nd minute of play. Troncos FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Club Atlético Alvarado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rosendo Ugutz took the corner. Rosendo Ugutz made a great header on Troncos FC's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Alvarado's Matías Tagliamonte managed to reach the ball for a save. Gerardo Bras scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matías Tagliamonte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Gerardo Bras made the kick off in the second half. If Rosendo Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Alvarado getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vladimiro Onofre hit a great ball. After 64 minutes, Gerardo Bras made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Alvarado's Matías Tagliamonte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matías Tagliamonte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Bras in the 68th minute of play. Gerardo Bras took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matías Tagliamonte. Matías Tagliamonte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 74 minutes in the game Fran Toni did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vladimiro Onofre. When Troncos FC's Gerardo Bras in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Atlético Alvarado's Nuno Melo was substituted for Fulgencio Teofilio. Primitivo Peruxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Matías Tagliamonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Bras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías Tagliamonte was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
