Sjoerd van Zalen kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Martelli City Club's Miguel Luix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogumil Kempka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Miguel Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Kempka came out of the goal and Miguel Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Serafin Bonadona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogumil Kempka. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogumil Kempka should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Serafin Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogumil Kempka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Kempka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Bento in the 22nd minute of play forced Martelli City Club's goalkeeper Romulo Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Bento got free with Romulo Beila in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guaberto Bermudez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Romulo Beila made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Generoso Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martelli City Club's Romulo Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bermudez in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Martelli City Club's Serafin Bonadona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogumil Kempka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Sjoerd van Zalen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Serafin Bonadona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bogumil Kempka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Galatasaray players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Martelli City Club were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Bento to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Teodoro Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Beila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Bonadona got free with Bogumil Kempka in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Martelli City Club's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Bento came free, but Romulo Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Saul Clemencin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bogumil Kempka. Saul Clemencin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Bogumil Kempka made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Serafin Bonadona sent off a good shot on target. If Serafin Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Galatasaray's Bogumil Kempka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray from getting a goal against them. After 83 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Franco Frias. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Franco Frias hit a great ball. Galatasaray's Bogumil Kempka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Vabamüürlane in the 86th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Sjoerd van Zalen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Martelli City Club's Julio Nazario quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Valdo Vabamüürlane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goalkeeper Bogumil Kempka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Vabamüürlane. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Martelli City Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
