The supporters of Ya Veran booed when Verye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ya Veran's zone, Fang Zhen Hao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Dolcet came out of the goal and Fang Zhen Hao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natalio Guillelmo came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ya Veran's Osmar da Rocha. But to his dismay, Osmar da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Fang Zhen Hao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12th play minutes Rauf Erginay shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Fulgencio Dolcet and just under the crossbar into goal. Rauf Erginay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute, Joe Oyen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ya Veran's zone, Rauf Erginay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Dolcet came out of the goal and Rauf Erginay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedito Paixão hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Osmar da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Guillelmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Rauf Erginay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Guillelmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar da Rocha in the 33rd minute. Natalio Guillelmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Guillelmo was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Osmar da Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osmar da Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 44 minutes into the game, Benedito Paixão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ya Veran the free kick. Benedito Paixão kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Felipe Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ya Veran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Dantel couldn't finish the play. Natalio Guillelmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar da Rocha in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osmar da Rocha to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Yuli Pirinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Dolcet made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Damian Tomi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ya Veran's Froilan Rey got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Benedito Paixão hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ya Veran made a substitution. Fausto Gregory replaced Joe Oyen. In the 59th minute, Felipe Dantel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ya Veran fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Natalio Guillelmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Dantel in the 64th minute of play. Fulgencio Dolcet had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rauf Erginay from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Osmar da Rocha hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Natalio Guillelmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Mouricio in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Mouricio in the 74th minute of play forced Verye's goalkeeper Natalio Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes Verye's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Froilan Rey who took care of the corner kick. Ya Veran's Osvaldo Erlantz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natalio Guillelmo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Osmar da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Ya Veran getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Osmar da Rocha hit a great ball. Ya Veran were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Verye for a fine match.
