Gerardo Celipe came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by funebreros's Rodolfo Urki. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Urki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 25th match minute, Leopardi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Naldo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Leopardi defense, Rodolfo Urki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Celipe. The Leopardi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Celipe should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Celipe having to interfere.
