Wilfredo Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saquon Gaumont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, La 91 del Rena's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Vimaro came free, but Silverio Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, La 91 del Rena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Iturri to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, La 91 del Rena's Wilfredo Irrintzi threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Iturri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Astrada was the one to do the kick off. Silverio Seber was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Manuel Tonio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Tonio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Wilfredo Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Roldan in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gryffindor Lions defense, Isidro Roldan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Irrintzi. The Gryffindor Lions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. Silverio Seber was a little too slow when Froilan Astrada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Natanael in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the match, La 91 del Rena's goalkeeper Silverio Seber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Astrada. After 76 minutes La 91 del Rena's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Tonio who took care of the corner kick. Froilan Astrada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Seber having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, La 91 del Rena's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Astrada came free, but Silverio Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
