Cirilo Maidana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Romero having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, TATA FC's Cirilo Maidana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Cirilo Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Echeverría, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jairo Amaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaser Camcıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TATA FC's Jairo Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Arotza in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Carlos Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TATA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Anaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Maidana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Romero was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Cirilo Maidana made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Murciélagos FC's Rodolfo Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Maidana in the 45th minute of play forced Murciélagos FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, TATA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yaser Camcıoğlu came free, but Jairo Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Maidana made a kick off. Reynaldo Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Amaya having to interfere. If Fernando Echeverría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Murciélagos FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nicasio Montes hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TATA FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
