In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown de Adrogue's goalkeeper Moise Latarețu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Club Atletico San Fermin's Alberto Sergi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moise Latarețu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Neron got free with Matias Muc in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejandro Neron did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Matias Muc 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Higinio Iratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moise Latarețu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 29 played minutes Club Atletico San Fermin got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Ingvall. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Atletico San Fermin's goalie and right to Ismael Baleren. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Atletico San Fermin's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Club Atletico San Fermin's Matias Muc got control of the ball when Alejandro Neron tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Didi Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. Wilhelm Bjørnstad was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atletico San Fermin's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle went the supporters of Club Atletico San Fermin were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Brown de Adrogue side.
