Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Walter got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Fantosy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Orlan to maneuver through the defense. Justino Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Maldonado having to interfere. With a little luck, Richmond Oilers's Octavio Maldonado got control of the ball when Eustaquio Benat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fantosy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Orlan in the 12th minute. Clodoveo Rivero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Richmond Oilers were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Fantosy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Oto took the corner. If Clodoveo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Rivero's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Octavio Maldonado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Benat in the 29th minute. Eustaquio Benat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Justino Haritz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Octavio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Jokin in the 40th minute of play forced Fantosy's goalkeeper 毛邦树 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darwin Núñez took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 毛邦树. 毛邦树 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Rivero in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Maldonado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Clodoveo Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fantosy's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Rivero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Maldonado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Rivero to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Fantosy got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Salvatore. Eustaquio Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Maldonado having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Richmond Oilers's goalkeeper Octavio Maldonado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richmond Oilers's Octavio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Gaitan in the 63rd minute of play. Victorino Admon hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Octavio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Orlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lúcio da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, 毛邦树 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Clodoveo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Placido Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Walter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 毛邦树 having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Fantosy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Dimas to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Playo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fantosy getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Eulalio Playo hit a great ball. 毛邦树 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Walter, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Eustaquio Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fantosy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Benat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Richmond Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Placido Jokin.
