Victor Paublo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 9th minute, Fidel Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Loiola struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rafael Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salliqueló. 13 minutes into the match, Salliqueló's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Haimar came free, but Victor Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Raymundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Paublo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Quilmes Atletico Club were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Salliqueló's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leon Raymundo took the corner. In the 21st minute, Emanuel Cordara made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Dei. Quilmes Atletico Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, Salliqueló's goalkeeper Victor Paublo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Raymundo. Rafael Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Loiola in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Cordara in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Dei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Danilo Hechter had to leave the field with a concussion. Isidro Peyo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Peyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quilmes Atletico Club's Gustavo Quiroga was substituted for Danilo Hechter. In the 45th match minute, Salliqueló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Peyo to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Haimar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Quilmes Atletico Club's zone, Melquiades Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Dei came out of the goal and Melquiades Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Raymundo in the 60th minute of play forced Salliqueló's goalkeeper Victor Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Laverick in the 61st minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Quilmes Atletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Leon Sowa. Victor Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rafael Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Cordara in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gustavo Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salliqueló's Emanuel Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atletico Club's goalkeeper Rafael Dei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Loiola. Rafael Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Cordara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Salliqueló were awarded a corner. Filiberto Colas went to the cornerflag to take it. Victor Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Raymundo in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Quilmes Atletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Paul to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Colas, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 84 played minutes, Salliqueló's Filiberto Colas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Dei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salliqueló reached it. Victor Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Raymundo in the 85th minute of the match. Leon Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Paublo having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Salliqueló walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
