Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niceto Micael took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Edwardo during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaston Chuan had in the 3rdth minute some difficulties stopping Niceto Micael's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Niceto Micael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gaston Chuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anthony Di Giandomenico made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ángel Labruna sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lanus's zone, Niceto Micael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Chuan came out of the goal and Niceto Micael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Di Giandomenico having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Di Giandomenico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Leheren in the 16th minute. Anthony Di Giandomenico made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rodolfo Leheren sent off a good shot on target. If Angel Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Admon in the 32nd minute of the match. Niceto Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gaston Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lima FC's Niceto Micael got a free kick in the 39th minute. Anthony Di Giandomenico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Edwardo in the 41st minute. Angel Admon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Chuan having to interfere. Anthony Di Giandomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Mergildo in the 46th minute of play. The Lanus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lima FC were winning 0-2.

In the 54th minute, Angel Admon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lima FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Lanus defense, Angel Admon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Chuan. The Lanus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Chuan should have stopped the shot. Lanus's Gaston Chuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Lanus from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Rodolfo Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Di Giandomenico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Di Giandomenico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Leheren's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Anthony Di Giandomenico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Labruna in the 70th minute of the match. Lima FC's Anthony Di Giandomenico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Mergildo in the 71st minute of play. Mario Fliz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Lima FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cipriano Edwardo scored 1-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Di Giandomenico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lanus's Teobaldo Santiago was substituted for Tomás Malbec. Angel Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gaston Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Leheren hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lima FC's Alonzo Mendizabal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Fermin Mergildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Di Giandomenico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Mergildo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Lanus booed when Lima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Amadeo Mano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lanus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Mano couldn't finish the play. Anthony Di Giandomenico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ángel Labruna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lima FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
