The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Adan Etxeberri sped through Academia Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliano Pacifico. Eustacio Felipillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Aureliano Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Franco. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Joaquin Phelipe hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Adan Etxeberri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Pacifico. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Etxeberri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Eustacio Felipillo in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aureliano Pacifico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 14 in the game by Eustacio Felipillo from a close distance when the talented Aureliano Pacifico managed to make a qualified save. Academia Club's players were relieved. In the 15thth minute of the game Eustacio Felipillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Adan Etxeberri made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Pacifico. Academia Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Eustacio Felipillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Felipillo in the 25th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Aureliano Pacifico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Joaquin Phelipe got a free kick in the 26th minute. Aureliano Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, CSD San Martin de Burzaco's Adan Etxeberri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Felipillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Pacifico was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. With his leg Aureliano Pacifico managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when CSD San Martin de Burzaco's Eustacio Felipillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eustacio Felipillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Aureliano Pacifico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Etxeberri in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Pacifico saved Academia Club from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Adan Etxeberri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Pacifico was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Eustacio Felipillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Pacifico was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Club's zone, Eustacio Felipillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Pacifico came out of the goal and Eustacio Felipillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th match minute, CSD San Martin de Burzaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Academia Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Adan Etxeberri scored to the left of an out of position Aureliano Pacifico, making the score, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Pacifico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Felipillo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 52 minutes, Eustacio Felipillo made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eustacio Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Eustacio Felipillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eustacio Felipillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Pacifico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Felipillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Felipillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Florencio Telesforo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Abancens in the 69th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Aureliano Pacifico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Club's goalkeeper Aureliano Pacifico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aureliano Pacifico came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by CSD San Martin de Burzaco's Eustacio Felipillo. But to his dismay, Eustacio Felipillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Etxeberri in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Pacifico saved Academia Club from getting behind. Eustacio Felipillo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Aureliano Pacifico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD San Martin de Burzaco. Fausto Franco hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Adan Etxeberri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSD San Martin de Burzaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Etxeberri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Eustacio Felipillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CSD San Martin de Burzaco booed when Academia Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Bjurström hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, one of Academia Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dionisio Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. CSD San Martin de Burzaco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
