It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 24th minute, but Leonel Rocco got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cascadia United hanging dry this time. In the 32nd minute Bartolo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, PLUMIN's Simon Ferrer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonel Rocco. Leonel Rocco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 45th minute, Wang Di Yi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

PLUMIN's Mauro Bazkoare was substituted for Simon Ferrer. Cascadia United's Constantino Neto was substituted for Abel Neron. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolo Basualdo was the one to do the kick off.
