It was Lucas Vittorio who took care of the corner kick. 24 minutes into the match, La Primera Barra 1968's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Beltran came free, but Fernando Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, La Primera Barra 1968 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Constancio to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, La Primera Barra 1968's Ramon Wanchope ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bai Jian Chen. The supporters of La Primera Barra 1968 booed when Buenos y Malos Ayres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Catucci didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Arnulfo Beltran's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando Llorian firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Buenos y Malos Ayres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bai Jian Chen should have stopped the shot. Buenos y Malos Ayres's Niceto Tolino was substituted for Jonatan Palmkvist. After a defensive mix-up in La Primera Barra 1968's zone, Paulo Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Llorian came out of the goal and Paulo Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Buenos y Malos Ayres getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hugo van der Struijk hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Abecia in the 80th minute of play forced Buenos y Malos Ayres's goalkeeper Bai Jian Chen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo van der Struijk hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Ramon Wanchope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Jian Chen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
