Margarita's Danilo Aires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Margarita from getting a goal against them. Justino Hustaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Mon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Bernal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Justino Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Bernal in the 16th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Virgilio Bingen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danilo Aires saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute of the game Dario Delfino made a throw-in which Arman Törnqvist played forward. Arman Törnqvist made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lino Beturian immediately put the ball in play. Virgilio Bingen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Danilo Aires made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Ongu in the 37th minute of play forced Black Sails's goalkeeper Justino Hustaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Hustaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yahya Ongu went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute of the game Arman Törnqvist made a throw-in which Lino Beturian played forward. The supporters of Black Sails booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Gurgul didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Bernal in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Hustaz saved Black Sails from getting behind. After 45 played minutes Black Sails got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Federigo. Margarita's Rigoberto Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Bernal made a kick off. Berry Bliss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Claudiu Cristescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Bliss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Aires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Bingen's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Margarita's Danilo Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Bingen in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Margarita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
