Jim Morrison started the match with the kick off. River Plate's Romulo Casado came free and shot a quick shot against goal 5 minutes in the game, fortunately Anton Björnberg had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Genaro Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Mugur in the 13th minute of play forced Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, River Plate's Romulo Casado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anton Björnberg. Anton Björnberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 22 minutes of play, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Jim Morrison made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Quiroga was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Jim Morrison in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36th minute Naboonga Wild Katt FC were awarded a corner. Manuel Iaki went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Naboonga Wild Katt FC's corner Manuel Iaki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Genaro Quiroga quite easily take care of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Mugur came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Casado to make the kick off. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Casado in the 51st minute of play. In the 60th minute, Romulo Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Erik Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate's Henrikh Vartanyan was substituted for Mauricio Tiniebra. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Morrison got free with Genaro Quiroga in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucho Garkalin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Genaro Quiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Montrell in the 74th minute. With his leg Genaro Quiroga managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Florencio Montrell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. River Plate's Genaro Quiroga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate from getting a goal against them. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Mugur in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, River Plate's Romulo Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Björnberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Casado came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Cordero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
