In the 12th minute, Independiente's Eriberto Truylos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inocencio Oinatz. Inocencio Oinatz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Saverio Giro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Inocencio Oinatz got control of the ball when Martin Suy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Inocencio Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Wei Kun in the 21st minute of play. Bartolo Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Ciceron in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Ciceron in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Idacio saved Independiente from getting behind. Bartolo Idacio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Ciceron's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Ciriaco Maule left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bartolo Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Ciceron in the 29th minute of play. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Inocencio Oinatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Olimpo de Bahia Blanca from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Inocencio Oinatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Truylos. 36 minutes into the match, Eriberto Truylos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Oinatz. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Truylos made a kick off. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Inocencio Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Wei Kun in the 55th minute of play. Inocencio Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Wei Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Independiente's Bartolo Idacio got control of the ball when Angelo Ciceron tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Ciceron came free, but Bartolo Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Angelo Ciceron took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Bartolo Idacio to make any attempt to save it. Nicolas Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bartolo Idacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Xu Wei Kun notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Inocencio Oinatz. Inocencio Oinatz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bartolo Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Satordi in the 91st minute of play. Bartolo Idacio made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Saverio Giro sent off a good shot on target. Bartolo Idacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Ciceron in the 93rd minute. With an all-out effort, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Bartolo Idacio threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Satordi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Independiente fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olimpo de Bahia Blanca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
