Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hörður's Guðleikur Ásmundarson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ísar Birgisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seimur Ófeigsson having to interfere. Vöggur Kjaransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Seimur Ófeigsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Hörður's goal looked a bit too open when Vöggur Kjaransson came free, but Seimur Ófeigsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Vöggur Kjaransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Seimur Ófeigsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ísar Birgisson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seimur Ófeigsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ísar Birgisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes SÍF Vogum got a freekick which was hit by Auðbert Gunnlaugsson. Seimur Ófeigsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vöggur Kjaransson in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hörður's Gellir Hilmarsson got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Soffanías Þorsteinsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hörður's Seimur Ófeigsson didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Hörður's zone, Ísar Birgisson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seimur Ófeigsson came out of the goal and Ísar Birgisson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seimur Ófeigsson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SÍF Vogum's Ísar Birgisson. But to his dismay, Ísar Birgisson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Hörður's goal looked a bit too open when Ísar Birgisson came free, but Seimur Ófeigsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ísar Birgisson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SÍF Vogum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ísar Birgisson couldn't finish the play. Seimur Ófeigsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vöggur Kjaransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Vöggur Kjaransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seimur Ófeigsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vöggur Kjaransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Hörður got a freekick which was hit by Svali Larsson. Vöggur Kjaransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vöggur Kjaransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Seimur Ófeigsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vöggur Kjaransson made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Soffanías Þorsteinsson during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SÍF Vogum fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! SÍF Vogum's Lár Dagbjartsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingjaldur Þrándsson in the 60th minute of play. Gellir Hilmarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gellir Hilmarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gellir Hilmarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Vöggur Kjaransson took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seimur Ófeigsson. Seimur Ófeigsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Seimur Ófeigsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vöggur Kjaransson in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Gellir Hilmarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes SÍF Vogum got a freekick which was hit by Gunnvaldur Viðarsson. After 85 played minutes Hörður got a freekick which was hit by Nóni Guðbjörnsson. In the 91stth minute of the game Vöggur Kjaransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hörður's Seimur Ófeigsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Ljótur Sindrason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ísar Birgisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Seimur Ófeigsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded SÍF Vogum left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hörður.
