Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sigurfinnur Vífilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svangeir Bergmansson in the 3rd minute of play. Sigurfinnur Vífilsson made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Loki Dagþórsson sent off a good shot on target. Loki Dagþórsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigurfinnur Vífilsson having to interfere. Griffill's Jóhann Sólbergsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Sigurjónsson in the 10th minute of play. Svangeir Bergmansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigurfinnur Vífilsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Svangeir Bergmansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Hersteinn Arnbergsson's late challenge caught a Griffill's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hersteinn Arnbergsson helped the player get up and apologised. 13 minutes into the game, one of Hólar Búðardal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute, the referee gave Griffill a penalty. Reynar Stefánsson looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Sigurfinnur Vífilsson. If Þorvar Jökulsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jóhann Sólbergsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Sigurjónsson in the 21st minute of play. Edvard Sigurjónsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Griffill's zone, Þorvar Jökulsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jóhann Sólbergsson came out of the goal and Þorvar Jökulsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loki Dagþórsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loki Dagþórsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigurfinnur Vífilsson having to make a save. Svangeir Bergmansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loki Dagþórsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Sigurfinnur Vífilsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Kolbjörn Árbjartsson fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hólar Búðardal's protests and gave Kolbjörn Árbjartsson a yellow card for diving instead. Griffill's Reynar Stefánsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hólar Búðardal.

Sær Darrason charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sær Darrason the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Þorvar Jökulsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jóhann Sólbergsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigurfinnur Vífilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Griffill's Svangeir Bergmansson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Griffill's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
