Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nemanja Milatović started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ratko Stoiljković was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marko Đinđić. After 13 minutes Žabalj's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radisav Radosavljev who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Žabalj getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Zvonko Bjedov hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Leo Kričković got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Srđan Čirjaković fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jabuka's protests and gave Srđan Čirjaković a yellow card for diving instead. Srđan Čirjaković kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Jabuka's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonko Bjedov came free, but Đorđe Stojčev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vukan Kragović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đorđe Stojčev having to interfere. When Zvonko Bjedov came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Žabalj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zvonko Bjedov couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Žabalj's Vukan Kragović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Đorđe Stojčev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 33 minutes into the game, Voja Dević was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Žabalj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jabuka the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Žabalj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Voja Dević to maneuver through the defense. Ratko Stoiljković was a little too slow when Nemanja Milatović got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vukan Kragović made a kick off. Jugoslav Kolarov's late challenge caught a Žabalj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jugoslav Kolarov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jabuka's Jugoslav Kolarov got a free kick in the 51st minute. Leo Kričković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ratko Stoiljković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zvonko Bjedov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Đorđe Stojčev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vukan Kragović, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Vukan Kragović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Žabalj's supporters rose to their feet, but Vukan Kragović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Đorđe Stojčev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Voja Dević was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 95 played minutes Žabalj got a freekick which was hit by Voja Dević. 96 minutes into the match, Jabuka's Radisav Radosavljev broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Žabalj players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jabuka from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
