The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodoljub Jelenić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasilije Krkanović in the 16th minute of the match. The Toplica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Bela Crkva's Rodoljub Jelenić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasilije Krkanović in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Toplica were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasilije Krkanović made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirko Ivanišević during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bela Crkva getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mirko Ivanišević hit a great ball. Rodoljub Jelenić acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pavle Mamić. Rodoljub Jelenić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasilije Krkanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Toplica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasilije Krkanović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirko Ivanišević blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimitrije Virijević having to make a save. Mirko Ivanišević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dimitrije Virijević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Mirko Ivanišević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bela Crkva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mirko Ivanišević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emir Vasić kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Bela Crkva lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
