Nemanja Mitić made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ðorđe Poturović sent off a good shot on target. After 11 minutes, Sreten Brmbota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Partizan Belgrade and the Bela Palanka FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sreten Brmbota hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. FK Partizan Belgrade's Sreten Brmbota got his second yellow card of the match in the 12th minute. The referee ordered Sreten Brmbota off the ground. In the 13th match minute, FK Partizan Belgrade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sreten Brmbota to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bela Palanka FK booed when FK Partizan Belgrade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jovan Pekaric didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ðorđe Poturović struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Nemanja Mitić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bela Palanka FK. In the 20th minute, Bogić Gligorijević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slaven Boričić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemanja Mitić having to make a save. Nemanja Aleksov kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Slaven Boričić came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Bela Palanka FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slaven Boričić couldn't finish the play. Nemanja Mitić came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bela Palanka FK's Ðorđe Poturović. But to his dismay, Ðorđe Poturović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Slaven Boričić took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nemanja Mitić to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slaven Boričić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Slaven Boričić came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bela Palanka FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slaven Boričić couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Partizan Belgrade's goalkeeper Nemanja Mitić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute Slaven Boričić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemanja Mitić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slaven Boričić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemanja Mitić having to interfere. When Bela Palanka FK's Slaven Boričić in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Partizan Belgrade's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Bela Palanka FK's goalkeeper Marinko Jemović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogić Gligorijević. 81 minutes into the game, Bela Palanka FK's Ðorđe Poturović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nemanja Mitić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 87 minutes into the match, FK Partizan Belgrade's goal looked a bit too open when Slaven Boričić came free, but Nemanja Mitić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Jugoslav Denić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ðorđe Poturović came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bela Palanka FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ðorđe Poturović couldn't finish the play. Slaven Boričić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemanja Mitić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Ðorđe Poturović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemanja Mitić having to interfere. If Ðorđe Poturović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemanja Mitić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slaven Boričić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
