In the 9th minute Dragutin Stevanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kornelije Sokić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodor Đaković's late challenge caught a Bački Topola FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Đaković helped the player get up and apologised. 12 minutes into the game, one of Jazak FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Bački Topola FK booed when Jazak FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomislav Arsenović didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Veselin Jokić in the 18th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Kornelije Sokić's left hand side. Radomir Vemić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kornelije Sokić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Teodor Đaković sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naum Radisavčević skillfully saved the ball. Dragutin Stevanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kornelije Sokić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bački Topola FK's Marko Kolarov got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd play minute Boriša Stančevski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Naum Radisavčević. 1-1. Kornelije Sokić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Kecman went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Jazak FK booed when Bački Topola FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Vemić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodor Đaković was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pavić Cvetković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bački Topola FK's zone, Pavić Cvetković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naum Radisavčević came out of the goal and Pavić Cvetković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavić Cvetković to make the kick off. Jazak FK's Kornelije Sokić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Starčević in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Dragutin Stevanović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kornelije Sokić. Dragutin Stevanović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 68 minutes in the game, Radomir Vemić fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kornelije Sokić having to interfere. Kornelije Sokić didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. 78 minutes into the match, Jazak FK's goalkeeper Kornelije Sokić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomir Vemić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boriša Stančevski in the 83rd minute of play forced Bački Topola FK's goalkeeper Naum Radisavčević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Jazak FK's goal looked a bit too open when Dragutin Stevanović came free, but Kornelije Sokić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Ðurađ Božanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kornelije Sokić made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Radomir Vemić sent off a good shot on target. If Dragutin Stevanović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jazak FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bački Topola FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
