Danilo Petrov charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Petrov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danilo Petrov hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, FK Ikona Beograd's goal looked a bit too open when Jevrem Bunjac came free, but Željko Vukojev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FK Ikona Beograd's Dragoljub Kašiković got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jevrem Bunjac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velika Plana's supporters rose to their feet, but Jevrem Bunjac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Željko Vukojev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Željko Vukojev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tihomir Ajduković, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Velika Plana's Jevrem Bunjac in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Jevrem Bunjac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, FK Ikona Beograd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janča Dragojević to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FK Ikona Beograd's zone, Jevrem Bunjac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Željko Vukojev came out of the goal and Jevrem Bunjac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tihomir Ajduković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Željko Vukojev having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Velika Plana's Živanko Jeremić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Željko Vukojev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jevrem Bunjac made the kick off in the second half. Dragoljub Kašiković's late challenge caught a Velika Plana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dragoljub Kašiković helped the player get up and apologised. Dragoljub Kašiković hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Jevrem Bunjac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Željko Vukojev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Janča Dragojević hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Janča Dragojević hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nikola Rnić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naum Ponorac having to interfere. Nikola Rnić came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Naum Ponorac could save by the left post. Željko Vukojev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jevrem Bunjac in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Živanko Jeremić in the 79th minute of play forced FK Ikona Beograd's goalkeeper Željko Vukojev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Živanko Jeremić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Velika Plana's goalkeeper Naum Ponorac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Živanko Jeremić made a precise shot to the right of Željko Vukojev. FK Ikona Beograd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Velika Plana booed when FK Ikona Beograd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoljub Kašiković didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.
