In the 16thth minute of the game Radivoje Stevanović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunaroš's Ninoslav Milosević was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Radivoje Stevanović tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ninoslav Milosević saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Gunaroš's Vojimir Mirkov got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasilj Moravčić in the 73rd minute of play forced Niš's goalkeeper Nenad Bondžulić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Gunaroš's goal looked a bit too open when Radivoje Stevanović came free, but Ninoslav Milosević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
