The supporters of Kladovo booed when Nova Varoš OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obrad Milović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Vidosav Kulić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kladovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Vidosav Kulić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Srđa Vujaković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute Vidosav Kulić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Srđa Vujaković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strahinja Mihajlović struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Srđa Vujaković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kladovo. After 13 minutes of play, Kladovo's Ljubivoje Tufegdžić made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Srđa Vujaković was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vidosav Kulić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bojan Tujković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Srđa Vujaković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidosav Kulić, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Strahinja Mihajlović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isailo Garić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ljuba Bilibajkič in the 28th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Nova Varoš OFK's Isailo Garić threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ljuba Bilibajkič, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Kladovo booed when Nova Varoš OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miodrag Momić didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ljuba Bilibajkič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Strahinja Mihajlović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Srđa Vujaković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ljubivoje Tufegdžić came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Kladovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ljubivoje Tufegdžić couldn't finish the play. Radiša Bihorac's late challenge caught a Nova Varoš OFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radiša Bihorac helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the match, Kladovo's Vidosav Kulić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Srđa Vujaković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vidosav Kulić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ljuba Bilibajkič to strike the kick off in the second half. Ljubivoje Tufegdžić struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Srđa Vujaković yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Vidosav Kulić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Strahinja Mihajlović might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Srđa Vujaković. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Strahinja Mihajlović ran back to his position shaking his head. If Vidosav Kulić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Strahinja Mihajlović in the 73rd minute of play forced Nova Varoš OFK's goalkeeper Srđa Vujaković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Milko Jeličić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kladovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milko Jeličić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Kladovo's goal looked a bit too open when Ljuba Bilibajkič came free, but Isailo Garić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obrad Milović hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Nova Varoš OFK's Bojan Tujković in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kladovo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
