Stefan Gutić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, Ratimir Krstović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Banja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kladovo the free kick. Ratimir Krstović kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Stefan Gutić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidosav Kulić in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Strahinja Mihajlović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Banja's Stefan Gutić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ljubivoje Tufegdžić in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Gutić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Strahinja Mihajlović to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FK Banja's zone, Ljubivoje Tufegdžić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Gutić came out of the goal and Ljubivoje Tufegdžić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Strahinja Mihajlović in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Gutić saved FK Banja from getting behind. After having played for 83 minutes, Bogić Maravić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kladovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogić Maravić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 played minutes Strahinja Mihajlović rounded FK Banja's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Strahinja Mihajlović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Stefan Gutić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Boro Mitić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
