Gradimir Džodić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragiša Borić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Vojko Đurđić from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Gradimir Džodić's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luka Lazarević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luka Lazarević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petronije Kalanović having to interfere. FC Kanarinac's Dragiša Borić got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Lakičević in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petronije Kalanović saved FC Kanarinac from getting behind. Vojko Đurđić came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gradimir Džodić could save by the left post. Gradimir Džodić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragiša Borić in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Ivan Lakičević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petronije Kalanović. FC Kanarinac's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Lakičević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Old bridge SM's attentive Ivica Marjanović managed to snatch the ball when Živomir Prole made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half Old bridge SM were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Petronije Kalanović came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Old bridge SM's Ivan Lakičević. But to his dismay, Ivan Lakičević quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Luka Lazarević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petronije Kalanović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Lakičević's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Dragiša Borić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Lakičević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petronije Kalanović having to interfere. Radoslav Prtinac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petronije Kalanović having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragiša Borić in the 65th minute of play forced Old bridge SM's goalkeeper Gradimir Džodić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, FC Kanarinac's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lakičević came free, but Petronije Kalanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luka Lazarević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ivica Marjanović came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Old bridge SM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivica Marjanović couldn't finish the play. Ivan Lakičević let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 76th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. In the 96th minute Ivan Lakičević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petronije Kalanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Old bridge SM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Kanarinac.
