In the 6th minute Matija Ćirović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavrilo Kontić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pivnice's Rastislav Lotinac proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Pivnice from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matija Ćirović in the 9th minute of play forced Lešnica's goalkeeper Gavrilo Kontić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavrilo Kontić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stepan Mihajlović's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Marko Tutorić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rastislav Lotinac. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Rastislav Lotinac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Bondžić, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Marko Tutorić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Rastislav Lotinac when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marko Tutorić kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 27thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pivnice's keeper Rastislav Lotinac was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The supporters of Lešnica booed when Pivnice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stepan Gajić didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Tutorić got free with Rastislav Lotinac in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th match minute, Pivnice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stepan Gajić to maneuver through the defense. Lešnica's Gavrilo Kontić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stepan Mihajlović in the 42nd minute of play. Gavrilo Kontić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matija Ćirović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marko Tutorić made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Vekoslav Vitošević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marko Tutorić in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rastislav Lotinac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lešnica's Radomir Bondžić in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pivnice's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matija Ćirović got free with Gavrilo Kontić in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rastislav Lotinac came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Lešnica's Marko Tutorić. But to his dismay, Marko Tutorić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, Lešnica's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Mihajlović came free, but Gavrilo Kontić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Marko Tutorić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lešnica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. If Matija Ćirović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Tutorić in the 82nd minute of play forced Pivnice's goalkeeper Rastislav Lotinac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Pivnice's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Tutorić came free, but Rastislav Lotinac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rastislav Lotinac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Tutorić in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Stepan Gajić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavrilo Kontić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Mihajlović in the 92nd minute of the match. Momir Gorjanac hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Pivnice's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
