In the 2nd minute, Ljuba Radivojević fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 4 played minutes Kovin got a freekick which was hit by Puniša Spasić. Kovin's Radoš Đušić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Kovin from getting a goal against them. Puniša Spasić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Kovin's goal looked a bit too open when Dojčin Maksimović came free, but Radoš Đušić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Puniša Spasić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhsin Ferhat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naum Vasić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ljuba Radivojević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, North Korea's Ljuba Radivojević made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radoš Đušić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mile Lešnjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Naum Vasić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhsin Ferhat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naum Vasić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhsin Ferhat having to interfere. Tiosav Dragutinović hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Dojčin Maksimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoš Đušić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 played minutes, North Korea's Stevan Lezajić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radoš Đušić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Korea reached it. Vojislav Arbutina kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Muhsin Ferhat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naum Vasić in the 63rd minute of play. Radoš Đušić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ljuba Radivojević went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes North Korea got a freekick which was hit by Stevan Lezajić. With a little luck, North Korea's Muhsin Ferhat got control of the ball when Naum Vasić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Puniša Spasić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Muhsin Ferhat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Kovin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vojislav Arbutina to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Mladomir Prodanović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Korea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovin the free kick. In the 81st minute, Mladomir Prodanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, North Korea's Muhsin Ferhat got control of the ball when Naum Vasić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ljuba Radivojević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoš Đušić having to interfere. The North Korea support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
