When Miodrag Bliznaković came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Jablanica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miodrag Bliznaković couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Pantelija Cukić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikola Stokić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miodrag Bliznaković in the 11th minute of the match. Pantelija Cukić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nikola Stokić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Jevrem Kisačević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jablanica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jevrem Kisačević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pantelija Cukić struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nikola Stokić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jablanica. Jablanica's Vuk Anastasijević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metodije Malinić in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Veljko Bogićević lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Vuk Anastasijević. Pantelija Cukić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vuk Anastasijević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metodije Malinić, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Miodrag Bliznaković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Stokić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Metodije Malinić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vuk Anastasijević, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metodije Malinić made a kick off. Siniša Milinković kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jablanica's Stevan Milačić got a free kick in the 60th minute. Metodije Malinić might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vuk Anastasijević. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Metodije Malinić ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Jablanica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Milun Kisić hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Jablanica's goal looked a bit too open when Metodije Malinić came free, but Vuk Anastasijević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Jevrem Kisačević managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jablanica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jevrem Kisačević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikola Stokić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boro Rikanović kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Boro Rikanović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jablanica's Vuk Anastasijević was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vuk Anastasijević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metodije Malinić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milun Kisić in the 78th minute of play forced FK Naftasi's goalkeeper Nikola Stokić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikola Stokić was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Milun Kisić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Milun Kisić really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 81st match minute, Jablanica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marjan Kelečević to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FK Naftasi's zone, Milun Kisić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikola Stokić came out of the goal and Milun Kisić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikola Stokić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miodrag Bliznaković's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Jablanica were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
