In the 5th match minute, Petrovaradin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevan Borenović to maneuver through the defense. After 11 minutes of play, Jablanica's Miodrag Bliznaković made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitar Ristanović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pantelija Cukić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Mitar Ristanović when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Milun Kisić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pantelija Cukić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mitar Ristanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Petrovaradin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevan Borenović to maneuver through the defense. Jablanica's Miodrag Bliznaković couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Petrovaradin. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Petrovaradin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jablanica:s goal. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Jablanica's Miodrag Bliznaković got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mitar Ristanović. Đorđe Puzović hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Pantelija Cukić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Mitar Ristanović made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milun Kisić in the 36th minute of play forced Petrovaradin's goalkeeper Mitar Ristanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitar Ristanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miodrag Bliznaković, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dejan Đurićić took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vuk Anastasijević. Vuk Anastasijević dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
The wind increased when Miodrag Bliznaković made the kick off in the second half. Mitar Ristanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milun Kisić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pantelija Cukić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, one of Petrovaradin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mitar Ristanović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pantelija Cukić in the 64th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Petrovaradin's Sibin Vulić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vuk Anastasijević. That made the score 3-2 after 68 minutes of play. Pantelija Cukić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mitar Ristanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Dejan Đurićić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jablanica's Miodrag Bliznaković got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Đorđe Puzović sped through Jablanica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vuk Anastasijević. Petrovaradin's Dejan Đurićić got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pantelija Cukić in the 87th minute of play forced Petrovaradin's goalkeeper Mitar Ristanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Dejan Đurićić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vuk Anastasijević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petrovaradin's attack was well implemented in the 92nd minute, but when Đorđe Puzović was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. With a little luck, Jablanica's Vuk Anastasijević got control of the ball when Dejan Đurićić tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Dejan Đurićić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petrovaradin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dejan Đurićić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrovaradin succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jablanica had controlled the match.
