Radoslav Buzdovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stevan Graovac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Ognjen Janković reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radoslav Buzdovan. The goal made the score 2-1. 24 minutes into the match, Celsius's goalkeeper Radoslav Buzdovan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sima Kontić. Radoslav Buzdovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sima Kontić, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Mladen Gorjanac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Stevan Graovac took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Radoslav Buzdovan to make any attempt to save it. After 35 played minutes Celsius got a freekick which was hit by Vasilj Šašić. 36 minutes into the game, Zdravko Iliev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radoslav Buzdovan. Zdravko Iliev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Mladen Gorjanac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Pustinjaković having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sima Kontić got free with Radoslav Buzdovan in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd match minute, Celsius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ognjen Jerotić to maneuver through the defense. Ognjen Janković came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Radoslav Buzdovan could save by the left post. With a little luck, Celsius's Radoslav Buzdovan got control of the ball when Ognjen Janković tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stevan Graovac made a kick off. A collision led to Banjani getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vučko Perić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Pustinjaković having to interfere. Banjani's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
