After having played for 7 minutes, Sima Kontić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banjani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sima Kontić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stevan Graovac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Stevan Graovac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radovan Denić was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Slaviša Timotić in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Milan Pustinjaković, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ognjen Janković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radovan Denić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stevan Graovac in the 18th minute of play. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Stevan Graovac sped through Cerovac's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radovan Denić. Ognjen Janković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radovan Denić having to interfere. Banjani's Milan Pustinjaković proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Banjani from getting a goal against them. Stevan Graovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Banjani booed when Cerovac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jezdimir Kulić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Banjani's Ognjen Janković got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevan Graovac in the 35th minute of play forced Cerovac's goalkeeper Radovan Denić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Cerovac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Srba Kuvekalović to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cerovac's zone, Ognjen Janković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radovan Denić came out of the goal and Ognjen Janković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radovan Denić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stevan Graovac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radovan Denić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ognjen Janković in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stevan Graovac to strike the kick off in the second half. Banjani were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Cerovac's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sima Kontić took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sima Kontić got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radovan Denić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Stevan Graovac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milan Pustinjaković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Njegosav Popović in the 57th minute of play. Ognjen Janković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radovan Denić having to interfere. Ognjen Janković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71stth minute of the game Stevan Graovac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerovac's Radovan Denić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Stevan Graovac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Radovan Denić made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ognjen Janković sent off a good shot on target. Stevan Graovac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Radovan Denić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Njegosav Popović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Pustinjaković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cerovac booed when Banjani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radislav Pešović didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cerovac's Radovan Denić got control of the ball when Ognjen Janković tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sima Kontić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Cerovac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Njegosav Popović to maneuver through the defense.
