Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brad Gately showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garwyli Fry, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Baglan FC's goalkeeper Huw Darke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sel Faherty. In the 7th minute Idris Emery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Gately saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garym Holster hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Sel Faherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garwyli Fry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brad Gately read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Garwyli Fry struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Brad Gately didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baglan FC. After some careless play in the UWA Penarth defense, Idris Emery kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brad Gately. The UWA Penarth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brad Gately should have stopped the shot. Brad Gately showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idris Emery, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Rhett Gee reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Huw Darke. The goal made the score 1-1. Brad Gately showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garwyli Fry in the 28th minute of the match. Sel Faherty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Huw Darke made a huge save. After 35 minutes of play, Baglan FC's Idris Emery made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brad Gately was left in no man's land by his defense there! Garym Holster charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garym Holster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Garym Holster hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Dywel Gooch sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Baglan FC's Huw Darke didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rhett Gee made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Maxen Boham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tristram Snobscat kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Garwyli Fry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Brad Gately tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhett Gee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huw Darke having to interfere. Brad Gately was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Caradoc Harris. Andras Bannon kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baglan FC's goalkeeper Huw Darke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rhett Gee in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huw Darke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garwyli Fry came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Brad Gately could save by the left post. Baglan FC's Huw Darke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sel Faherty in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Baglan FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tristram Snobscat hit a great ball. Huw Darke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhett Gee in the 88th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Baglan FC got a freekick which was hit by Calder Tipstaff. Baglan FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
