The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Caledvwich Burrows managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talgarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Caledvwich Burrows was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Digon Donovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Digon Donovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caerwyn Dean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Llandysul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drwst Collins didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Talgarth getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rhyawdd Dancy hit a great ball. Gleis Lloyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arawn Hibberd having to interfere. If Beli Brazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Drwst Collins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caledvwich Burrows spun around in front of the goal 40 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Llandysul's goal.

Caerwyn Dean was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Talgarth's Bedyw Keyes got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Barris Hastings sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arawn Hibberd skillfully saved the ball. Beli Brazier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arawn Hibberd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gleis Lloyd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arawn Hibberd was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Caledvwich Burrows received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Digon Donovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Llandysul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Digon Donovan should have stopped the shot. Gleis Lloyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arawn Hibberd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Digon Donovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caledvwich Burrows in the 78th minute of play. Caerwyn Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beli Brazier in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arawn Hibberd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arawn Hibberd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gleis Lloyd, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Caledvwich Burrows took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Digon Donovan to make any attempt to save it. When Caledvwich Burrows came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Talgarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caledvwich Burrows couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
