Ysgawyn Faherty dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Evan Herd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ysgawyn Faherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morvran Edgell struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Dyvyr Garland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wales FC. Ysgawyn Faherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blathaon Caldwell in the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Morvran Edgell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wales FC were furious when Price Higgin was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 24 minutes into the game, one of Wales FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute, Morvran Edgell made a precise shot to the right of Dyvyr Garland. Newtown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Wales FC booed when Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinadan Haylow didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Wales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blathaon Caldwell came free, but Ysgawyn Faherty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Morvran Edgell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Morvran Edgell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dyvyr Garland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morvran Edgell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wales FC's Sulien Cockane got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Morvran Edgell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dyvyr Garland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Wales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aberthol Laurence to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Wales FC's Ysgawyn Faherty got control of the ball when Blathaon Caldwell tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Wales FC's Morvran Edgell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dyvyr Garland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ysgawyn Faherty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evan Herd, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ysgawyn Faherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyddawg Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysgawyn Faherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyddawg Beckett in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Morvran Edgell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Newtown players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Wales FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
