Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evan Herd took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Newtown's goal looked a bit too open when Goreu Eccleston came free, but Dyvyr Garland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Goreu Eccleston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dyvyr Garland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Newtown's Dyvyr Garland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goreu Eccleston in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Goreu Eccleston dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dyvyr Garland, 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Newtown's goal looked a bit too open when Goreu Eccleston came free, but Dyvyr Garland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Newtown's Evan Herd made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Nowak was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Sun By The Sea booed when Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyddawg Beckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evan Herd took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Nowak. Tadeusz Nowak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Evan Herd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Nowak having to interfere. The Sun By The Sea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Newtown were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Goreu Eccleston to strike the kick off in the second half. Evan Herd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeusz Nowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evan Herd, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 65th match minute, Sun By The Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mabsant Appleton to maneuver through the defense. Tadeusz Nowak acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pelles Fitzjohn. In the 68th minute, Evan Herd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evan Herd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Newtown's Dyvyr Garland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odgar Deanly in the 75th minute of play. If Goreu Eccleston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sun By The Sea's Goreu Eccleston got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evan Herd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tadeusz Nowak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dyvyr Garland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odgar Deanly, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kynlas Lazar charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kynlas Lazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kynlas Lazar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Odgar Deanly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dyvyr Garland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sun By The Sea supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Newtown's performance. The match ended with a win for Newtown.
