Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Llwyr Bruce started the match with the kick off. Llwyr Bruce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Drwst Bissett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drwst Bissett stood somewhat misplaced when Llwyr Bruce came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. Drwst Bissett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llwyr Bruce in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, UWA Penarth's Drwst Bissett got control of the ball when Myrddin Keatinge tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Myrddin Keatinge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Owls III's supporters crossed their fingers, but Myrddin Keatinge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Llwyr Bruce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drwst Bissett having to interfere. The supporters of Owls III booed when UWA Penarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwres Drummond didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Llwyr Bruce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evrei Muleskinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peredur Epps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Weyland Grace made the kick off in the second half. Druce Lynch hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Peredur Epps ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evrei Muleskinner was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 58th minute Myrddin Keatinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drwst Bissett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Myrddin Keatinge came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Owls III fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myrddin Keatinge couldn't finish the play. Owls III's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Weyland Grace scored to the left of an out of position Evrei Muleskinner, making the score, 2-2. Gwyneira Bulbeck's late challenge caught a Owls III's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwyneira Bulbeck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Gwyneira Bulbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Llwyr Bruce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drwst Bissett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llwyr Bruce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Pasgen Halliday from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Evrei Muleskinner's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Owls III had won after a very even match.
