Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Neued Fielding started the match with the kick off. When Neb Lovelady in the 5th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Pyrs Leech kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 9th minute, Adwr Hill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Neued Fielding got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th match minute, AFC Wales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirmyg Gregson to maneuver through the defense. Neued Fielding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Morthwyl Jennings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, AFC Wales's goal looked a bit too open when Adwr Hill came free, but Kai Child reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kai Child took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neued Fielding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes AFC Wales got a freekick which was hit by Morthwyl Jennings. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Ely's zone, Lot Doran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pyrs Leech came out of the goal and Lot Doran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Neued Fielding ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kai Child was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half UWA Ely were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neb Lovelady stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, UWA Ely's Trefor Waiter got a free kick in the 54th minute. Trefor Waiter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Kai Child tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Neb Lovelady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lot Doran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pyrs Leech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pyrs Leech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neb Lovelady in the 67th minute of play. Adwr Hill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neb Lovelady in the 72nd minute of play forced UWA Ely's goalkeeper Pyrs Leech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Neb Lovelady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pyrs Leech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pyrs Leech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neb Lovelady's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Adwr Hill came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kai Child could save by the left post. When UWA Ely's Neued Fielding in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Wales's goalie prevented a goal. 82 minutes into the match, UWA Ely's goal looked a bit too open when Lot Doran came free, but Pyrs Leech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trefor Waiter during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trefor Waiter kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Neb Lovelady notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of UWA Ely's Pyrs Leech. Pyrs Leech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
